I work within specialist schools, early years settings and mainstream schools. I provide initial assessments and ongoing therapy packages which may include 

- Speech sound therapy

- Language therapy: both receptive and expressive language input

- Play and interaction therapy

- Alternative and augmentative communication input

Initial discussion

Informal discussion by phone. There is no fee for this discussion and would include an informal chat about the client’s speech, language and communication difficulties, a brief description of the services available and whether they meet the needs of the patient and their family. No therapeutic advice or management strategies are offered.

Initial assessment appointment

£90

Initial Assessment Appointment: £90
An initial assessment lasts up to one hour and includes a short summary of the appointment provided in either paper or email form (45min, face to face session and 15 minutes of admin/case notes/ discussion with parent/carer or education staff).  


If a formal report is requested, this will be charged at an additional £75.
The consultation may include time spent with the child’s family members or other professionals that are involved in the child’s care.

Therapy appointment

£70

Therapy Appointment: £70 per hour (45minutes face to face session and 15minutes admin/case notes/ discussion with family or education staff)
The number of therapy appointments will be discussed and agreed with you in advance. Dependant on need, therapy appointments are usually offered in blocks of 5 or 6sessions, carried out within a period decided with both parent/carer and therapist.

Travel costs

Travel Costs: Travel Costs comprises mileage costs and travel time costs. Mileage is calculated using Google Maps and associated costs will be charged at the rate of 55p per mile (this charge applies to appointments over a 5 mile radius of DN4. These costs will be discussed in advance with the family).
